While all that is true, I think it's fair to characterize that The
Golden Era of ASC has passed. Now that the group has matured, some (no,
really -- stop laughing! ;), its shiney-newness and youthful-energy are
gone forever. As Ray said, not a bad thing but, as others lament, those
times are missed.
I imagine that the same is true for any other forum or medium that's >
10 yrs old, and starting to be true for any that's over 4 or 5.
It's better that things grow older than that they die... :)
