I've heard from a few others in the industry that Steve Saka is trying
to steer Drew Estate into a more mainstream cigar company with these
new blends... Liga Privada, Chateau Real... both good cigars, and I
can't wait to see what more they have coming!

While I'm not a particular fan of Drew Estate, why would it be a good idea
to be "more mainstream"? To be more mainstream also means have more
competition while being more samey, to be a smaller fish in a bigger pond
while losing some individuality. The Cubans could afford it because in
their chosen market -- Cuban cigars -- the firms all belong to the same
outfit and do not really compete with each other, so the increasing
sameyness and blandness was not a fatal drawback. Can Drew Estate do this?
