Re: OT: Spitzer - the true tragedy

OK, I'm going to say something controversial for a change. To me, she looks
evil. Yes, she looks kind of like a vampire. I see a hunger in those eyes

siren of mythology. Like somebody who ... well ... maybe turned Spitzer in
so she could cash in on the fame - which already she appears to be doing.
She apparently dreamed of fame as a singer. It has happened before, not
that I am saying it happened now. But from the news reports, Spitzer became
an IRS target after an anonymous tip. And I am shedding no tears for
Spitzer, BTW. His replacement seems the better man in my eyes.

Unbelieveable... Not really. Just like Paulie to blame everyone but
the Democrap that committed the crime...

The IRS was alerted by the bank. Spitzer was moving money between
accounts in large amounts, in ways that are illegal and indicative of
tax fraud and/or funding of illegal activities. The bank is required
to notify the IRS when large sums of money are shifted between
accounts like ole Elliot did.

The girl had nothing to do with him getting busted. I am guessing she
would rather not have him found out. She stands to lose some big
money, and if she does make anything on it, it is likely to be very
short-lived.
