That *** head who decided me as a fat cat? who used the business card

Remember when this was a busy little newsgroup? Cigar bombs were

Hutch and his fishing contests. Misc and his silly-ass questions. Paul
Cook ready to argue against common sense at the drop of a hat. Father
Dale? Ivler? Padron Man? Big Oak? "It's an ASC thing" The "Thank
Yous" The "You're Welcomes" The politics. Cigar reviews. Herfs. HARD.
LVCS. PTDC. CCCCCCCCetc. The gang.

Of course the trolls will take credit for this, but it's more than
some juvenile trolling. Something else has killed the spirit of ASC.
The lights are off, the ashtrays are cold.

So sad.

I started browsing this newsgroup almost 3 years ago and registered
and started posting almost 2 years ago. As I've learned more and more
about cigars, now to own a shop, ASC and the archives has always been
there as my main and trustworthy source of information for cigars and
things I did not know.

I do love ASC, and it is unfortunate to see it fade a bit.

That being said, there's no reason why there CANNOT be a revival of
these things. I'd be up for it. Heck, I never really got much of a
chance to participate.

Tex.

good point. don't forget to drop by http://www.cigargroup.com and say hi to bob!
