I actually thought about this a while back. When I first heard of
flat-tax or no-tax plans, my immediate reaction was "in order to
implement this, there needs to be some sort of transition plan for all
the CPAs & Tax-Preparers." I'm not normally one for ongoing social
programs but having a "you've got 5 yrs and $X-amount to get yourself
reeducated and find a new career" seems more like an investment than a
dole...
