Well, yes and no. Of course I would like to have you all visit my
site, but I really did write that article to be helpful and
informative. I update the blog daily and yes I have some advertising
on there, who doesn't?
Either way, it has been a long time since I have been on the news
groups and was testing the waters to see if it still had a pulse.
Looks like some people still use it. So, if you do visit my site, be
sure to comment so I will know you were there.
Thank you.

Buying online isn't as hazardous as you state. That's not to say
problems can't result, they can; but, they can result from buying in a
LCS, as well. I've been buying online now for a few years now and
nothings happened. Fact is, I've had more problems buying in retail
stores then online.

When I wrote the article, I had intended it to be used to inform and
bring readers to my blog. I am a web developer and I spent 3-4 months
fighting with credit card merchants about selling cigars online, for a
site I was developing. None of them wish to sell tobacco products,
even paypal, so ALOT of online cigar shops are using offshore
accounts. I know this for a fact and the bigger shops already running
are grandfathered in. I felt this information was important to anyone
shopping online, as I wouldn't want an offshore merchant charging my
card.
Also, I did drop the link here to promote my blog. I am not a retail
site, just a blog and I have some ads to help cover my expenses, but
not getting rich by any means!
If anyone was bothered by this, I apologize, but then again I didn't
just spam your thread and leave. I have at least dropped back in to
reply from time to time. So, check out my blog sometime. I am a cigar
smoker just like you guys and love to discuss a good cigar.
