I'd like to see a single tax rate, or more better, a consumption tax.
Taxing production is abhorrent to me.
The one huge problem with consumption tax is that it is regressive as hell.
IOW, the less you earn, the harder you are hit. If you use 1,000 gallons of
fuel a year to commute to work and it costs $6 a gallon rather than $3, that
job may become unaffordable to someone from the working classes.
