Who decides when I have "enough"? You? The government? Talk about
reprehensible and "not beneficial to the individual, his family or his
society and country." You are advocating tyranny.

I don't really want to debate specific levels of wealth or income. What
concerns me is the general question when enough is enough. If you have a
300-foot yacht, where is the point in ordering up a 400-foot yacht? If you
already own a brownstone in NYC, a ranch in Aspen, Clark Gable's old place
in LA and a 10,000 sq.ft. mansion in the Keys, what's the point of shopping
for
a Caribbean island? At some point, the wealth you have can and probably
already has bought you everything you could possibly enjoy or need, so what
is the purpose of amassing even more? If it's only to keep score, aren't
there other, equally valid ways of measuring your success?

I guess, in the end it should be up to the individual to decide for himself
when it's enough. That does not mean we cannot comment, advise or even
encourage such a decision.
