Don Pepin Garcia - Black Label Churchill, Cuban Classic. This one came with
"The Show Stopper" sampler from Holts. Helene stopped by Holts to pick up
some Opus and grabbed one of these also.
Good looking stick, nice construction.
Pre light aroma reminded me of cigarette tobacco, really, this smelled like
a cigarette.
Lit it, horrible aroma, my wife even commented on this. Tasted like a
cigarette. The filler burned gray, while the wrapper burned black.
I pitched it after about 3/4" of burn, it was that bad. The San Cristobal
Monumente that was part of the sampler has me worried as they are also made
by Pepin. Tried the Tatuaje a while back, pitched that one, too. These guys
could very well be the next Perdomo.
CigarSki - I may not know much, but I know what I like and what I don't
like...
