Re: Zippo Blu butane lighter.....anybody tried these?

Bill, I found myself in Bradford, PA stopping for lunch on the way to
Fredonia, NY to see one of my son's hockey games two weeks ago. Low and
behold there was the Zippo factory, store and tour. With a little gentle
persuation I convinced my wife to make a short stop. There I purchased the
Zippo Blu Gold Tuxedo. ($62.95) (A little more than I was looking to spend
at the time but when in Rome). Anyway I never had a regular Zippo so I'm not
really sure how they compare in weight. However it is a comfortable weight
in my opinion. There is no flame adjustment and it seems to put out alot of
butane but the flame is real nice, not too tall or short. It is easy to
light with your thumb naturally hitting the button off the wheel when
igniting however it does take a little more pressure to spin the wheel
compared to the ignition systems of other torches. When opening the top the
metal does seem thin and perhaps a little "cheap" feeling. I don't know if
that's to keep the total weight down or what but with the top down it seems
solid. There is a window to show fuel level. It does seem to use alot of
fuel. However I haven't had the opportunity to use it much since I have had
an infection around a tooth I had capped recently and have not been smoking
(1 cigar since I got it two weeks ago!). I am very pleased with it so far.
Hope that helps.

Saw something about them online. Looks interesting, to me at least.

Anybody had opportunity to try one?

Thanks.
