Why's that? Does he go places that United does not?
Personally, I was under the impression that former VPs are considered
possible targets for terrorissts and other nutcases, domestic and foreign,
and thus avoid public transportation ?
It would certainly seem sensible to do so.
Another thing is that I don't see why it is so horrible for Al Gore to live
according to his means just because he has those opinions. If you're working
to change international policy, you need to get around and talk to people.
If Al Gore's work can bring about an annual 0.000001 percent reduction in
China's, or Europe's or USA's energy consumption, that will by far
conpensate for the emission of Al Gore's jet. If not, then the pollution by
his jet is a drop in the ocean, so to speak.
So to me this whole focus on Al Gore's jet is completely without merit.
