Gore gets a cold shoulder
October 14, 2007
Climate crusader: Al Gore.
ONE of the world's foremost meteorologists has called the theory that
helped Al Gore share the Nobel Peace Prize "ridiculous" and the product
of "people who don't understand how the atmosphere works".
Meteorologists are not climatologists. It's like saying that weather bimbo
on the news is an authority. As I recall a group of oil indusry lawyers
went on record too as saying GW was a myth as did a class of 5th graders
earlier this year. So what? Climate and weather are not the same thing.
As for accuracy, the climatologists seem to get it right but the weathermen
are often wrong. It was supposed to be cloudy and overcast today. Instead
it is sunny and warm.
Any "news" article that tries to conflate Al Gore with scientific theory is
just a smear. I don't know how many times it has to be repeated, he is a
spokesperson for the science and not himself a scientist. It is not "Al
Gore's" theory.
