I know this is a dumb question. But, I was at wedding and was offered a
cigar. It was a cuban cigar. I may never see another one of these

smoke into your mouth for the taste? Or do you take the smoke into
your lungs for the effect of the nicotine, if there is any? Or both? I
truly don't know. I guess what i would like to know, what is it about
cigars that you like? thx
There is many, many times the nicotine in a cigar than in a cigarette. If
you inhale you will probably not get too far into the cigar before getting
sick. Most cigar smokers do NOT inhale, and yet, still, one can feel the
effects of the nicotine. Nicotine is absorbed through the oral mucosa.
By the way, nicotine is not all that bad for you, and in fact it has been
shown to prevent alzheimers to some extent. It is inhaling primary smoke
that causes emphysema and lung cancer. One to two cigars a day (not
inhaled) seems to have little effect on overall mortality, and falls within
the "noise" range of the statistics.
