Not likely. Usenet used to be hot and cutting edge. The younger
folks think of it as old-fashioned now, and the older folks are tired
of it. (In general.) Usenet will eventually go the way of Gopher.
The rousing good discussions we had 15 years ago just can't happen
today, because
1. We're all 15 years older and we're not as passionate as we were
and 2. the young folks do their flaming elsewhere.
