Perhaps you could suggest a test that I could apply to any evidence that
someone gave me for a particular argument, and thereby determine if said
evidence was objective or subjective.
As I said to Alex, objective is external, subjective is internal.
The argument that God exists because I feel Him inside my heart
is subjective.
The argument that God exists because I saw a bush burning without
being consumed, a guy raised from the dead, fire fall from heaven,
etc. is external to me.
Only I can feel what's in my heart. But anyone who happened to
be standing around would see the fire fall from heaven.
"I believe in free will because I saw Hutch make a free and willful
choice about which lure to put on his line before casting."
How is that not "objective" evidence of free will?
It's fallacious, of course -- "Hutch chose a lure, therefore there is
free will" is every bit as flawed as "some guy (so I heard) claims to
have seen a bush burn but not be consumed, therefore there is a God."
But these strike me as very similar arguments.
I understand that your faith requires you to keep them differentiated --
I'm just asking if you can explain how they're different.
Thanks!

A "great" review is one with the name of the cigar before the review text
in the body of the post. :)
