Ummmmmmmm...what is this "allotted time" ?
More then 45 mins smoking a fine cigar, and I start thinking "I
don't want to leave any behind" but, they are to expensive to
waste - ;-) so I've reached 1h 15mins with churchills.
75 minutes is *way* too fast for a churchill -- that's about the
right time to spend on a robusto!
People who smoke that fast usually find many cigars to be harsh.
When I find myself with time contraints, I'd rather smoke a third of
the cigar than rush it.
Same here. My goal is to enjoy the cigar, not "finish" it. I'll
generally choose a cigar that better fits the time allotted, or just
not smoke one, if time is short. Fortunately there are cigars that I
stock that fit times of from 20min to 2.5 hours.
Yep. That's why they make the different sizes, wot? ;-)
.. . . but there have been those times when I wanted a particular taste, only
had a one-hour size, and a 1/2 hour to smoke. In that case, it's a small
price for satisfaction!
