I'm a newbie here and to the wonderful world of good cigars. It started
last spring when I stopped at JR on the way from OH to FL. Since then
I've sampled quite a few and really like the Montecristo white labels,
especially the churchills; I like the larger ring sizes because they
seem a little cooler. Anyway, the montecristos are pretty expensive, and
the churchills last me longer than 90 minutes, which is great for the
evenings when I have nothing to do; so here's the question: can anyone
suggest a cigar similar in taste/strength to the mc white in a size that
will last me 30-45 minutes for when I don't have an hour and a half?
Sorry if I'm sounding too ignorant here, but I'm still learning. Thanks.
Joya de Nicaragua Antano 1970 Machito. Stronger than you are looking
for, but hey, get used to it. They are the perfect size for your
quest.
An ISOM that fills the bill is the Fonseca KDT, which at only $71.00 a
box makes them pretty affordable as well.
