For a professor your logic isn't real strong. :-)
It's simply a question of priorities. It's your mind that is making the
choice. No outside influence is forcing you to eat that pizza.
Although you want to lose weight, you want to eat the pizza more than you
want to lose the weight.
However, if that rationalization makes you feel more comfortable...go for
it.
