the modern world and provide for their citizens. A fair society does

condemn 18,000 people to death every year because they can't afford to

least, well you're positively in capitalistic bliss.

Well some of us believe in self governance, even if today it is just a
relic, and would rather hold on to that ideal than to submit to a
governance
by multi-national corporation with its unelected boardrooms which is in
effect what we have now. One's rights should not be determined by a cash
register.
