I believe that the common thought is that we may have been CREATED in
his image, but that wonderful gift of free will allows for deviation

what I have heard as the reason for variation. It's the same excuse
I've heard for why there are truly evil people.

One needs to make a separation between our nature and acting upon our
nature. We may desire our neighbour's shiny new Rolex or hot new wife, but
only in taking either do we commit the sin.

Not as I was brought up. Coveting was a sin....lust was a sin. I've
chosen to disagree with most of what I was taught when young :)
