Re: Zippo Problem

I picked up a new Zippo about a year ago to use as my back-up cigar
lighter. When I fill the thing with fuel it seems to dry up in a week
or so (right from new). In otherwords fill it up, sit it on a shelf,
try and light it a week later and she is dry. Does not seem to matter
how much fuel I put in it. Is this normal for a Zippo? If not I may
send it in for warranty.

It is normal. The fluid evaporates. It is not a sealed system.
