and led to a legendary incident in which Cohen reportedly sent an
executive to Franken's apartment to hand-deliver an envelope
purportedly

Might I suggest "forward reading"?

Might I suggest "critical thinking." Ken is easy bait for those wingnut
sites that tell half of a story so that they can manipulate the reader.
It's a pretty sly way of lying and slandering without actually breaking any
laws. "AL FRANKEN STIFFED - AA SUCKS ASS AND THIS IS PROOF" but of course
the article doesn't say that Al is not even asking for the money. See how
you have to go backwards to go forwards?

And I should take suggestions from a guy who gets confused over sarcastic
remarks?

And no - I did not LITERALLY mean that I am hooking Ken's mouth with a fish
hook. OK? For your assignment, look up the words, analogy and euphemism.
I just wanted to clarify that so you don't accuse me of changing the subject
to bass fishing.
