I just downloaded all the message bodies from this NG to search for
something positive on this company. I couldn't find it. My favorite
online company is JR Cigar http://www.jrcigar.com. I did a random
comparison of five brands they sell in common and found that on
weighted average, Thompson is 54.6% higher for the same cigar. The
worst, a Macanudo Prince Phillip was 73.2% higher at Thompson. Not
only that, the shipping charges on JR Cigar invoices seem to be lower.
Does anyone have a good word for Thompson?
On occasion, they do run a killer "get acquainted" special in some publications...so you can get a good deal from them...ya just need to put up with their constant crappy catalogs after that.

My home owners association keeps a trash can next to the mail boxes just for junk mail. The Thompson's catalogue never makes it back to the house.
