The time vortex is opening, a mystical time.
With 72 hrs to go, it is time to review the history of the legends.
Summer of 1969
2 teens was to meet one was of extreme natural beauty of the day.
The other inner city teen, already working in the day.
They would spend the magical summer of 1969 together.
The beauty would model and the teen would show his megatropolis to her.
She would share her world, and her world would be known to him.
Then it was to be, one day her father would say it had to end.
That the destinies in life were not the same.
A fork in lives had become evident.

So the teen would watch TV as the beauty blossomed via TV and movies.
He would remember her scent, her style and just the way she would look.
Yet, the sadness would last for a decade, the search as a
Teen, soldier, student, businessman.
Would not yield the beauty of a lost love.
Then the sadness, as the darkness became all consuming.

A day of the miracle.
It was hot in the subway at 7pm.
There standing at the downtown.
It was magic, destiny or intervention of the gods.
A physic would say years later, there was much power between our souls
not normally seen in married couples. That either a previous life was
involved or divine intervention during this lifetime.
Such a beauty, other young men had taken notice of her, the radiance on
the platform was overwhelming.
There is no reasoning, why he would say hello to her, and she would
respond with a reassuring hello in a very cold NYC. That a ride of 6
subway stops would bond them together forever.
She would befit the most virtuous virgin the most untouched beauty.
The one that would turn heads without saying a word.
But in listening to an old song, it became apparent.
A gift of the gods was to be realized.
The following would fit this beauty
+ Please send a little girl for me to thrill
14 years old
+Venus, make her fair
Pure subtle skin.
+A lovely girl with sunlight in her hair
Pure sheen of golden brown.
+And take the brightest stars up in the skies
and place them in her eyes for me
Young eyes with bewilderment of the world.

I'd have said the same thing about anyone else -- Democrat, Republican
or Zoroastarian. Security sometimes demands bigger vehicles. Entrrouage
sizedoes, too, but there are economies of scale. AOL rented a full-size
bus to run between Rock Center and Teterboro when I worked for them
because it waqs cheper and easier on the environment than 20 town cars.
It's like people bitching about Bush being in Crawford so much. I think
he's a disaster as a president, but I don't care how much time he spedns
in Texas. He's just as technologically connected to the job in Crawford
as he is anywhere else. And Air Force One is probably better equipped
than the White House in some respects.
Yes, you're right. And as a US Senator, he will have an entourage, and
the SUV will more than likely be armored. All that tracks just fine.
But it's like Gore jetting back and forth across the country to decry
the evils of CO2 emissions from engines.
Even though it can be justified on some level, it still reeks of
hypocrisy, classism, and that infuriating paternalism.

I like it -- it's an interesting adaptation of the way big corporations
