Houston Area

So, I know that a few of you are from Houston. Does anyone at all live
in the West Houston area? How about Hempstead/Navasota/Brenham?
If so, are there herfs going on that I don't know about, or is it
really as dead as it seems? My friends in Dallas and Austin seen to
have something every weekend. Except for store events, I can't find
anything locally.
