It was that you felt that had your friend lost weight he'd be around.
I disagree. I also take exception to anyone who blankets a whole
group just because their overweight, and focus on the weight alone.
That's the same "science" that the tobacco nazis use to incriminate
cigars because cigarettes are bad.

You don't like me. I get that. I always have. I don't expect
everyone to like me.

I never met you making it hard for me to form a real opinion.
Remember, you're the one who bashed my medical expertise, at the onset
I might add.

I made a plea to overweight people to assess their own health to
prevent their untimely death.

Again with the junk science? Cite? I've given two, and weight loss
isn't even in the top ten things you can do to improve longevity. Of
course, being overweight, I'm quite sensitive on the subject.

Oh, I forgot, if they don't agree with the smoking doc baron, they're
full of shit and they must have gotten their med school diplomas from a
gumball machine.

Again, these are not my assumptions but actually quite good medical
science.

Glarb, all in all, I'm not generally confrontational. I'm not on
these boards to argue or confront. If I have something to add,
especially in my own limited capacity as a physician, I will. Am I
always correct? Hell no. But in presenting research to add to a
discussion I just hope to add. And, anyone, including you, who
disagree with me doesn't get me crazy. Life's too short. But I don't
relish being impugned personally as I present research that's no my
own.

Finally, and once again, I don't dislike or like you. I'd like to
meet you however and share some quality cigar time.
