Well guys, I am putting this down to difference in taste :)

I sampled another one last night and enjoyed the hell out of it! This one
had a perfect draw so I was in luck.

It's possible that there was variation within a box even back then :)

It was probably a bit milder than I remember my first one being, but I
really enjoyed the full flavour of the cigar.

That is often what I get from very well aged sticks. Less strength,
more subtle and balanced flavor. Excellent to hear that you enjoyed
it!

I guess I am way less experienced than Hutch and Tim when it comes to very
aged cigars, but I found these to be pretty special. If I could afford it, I
would be very keen on trying more aged sticks to compare.

I'm pretty sure that you have a couple to do that with. If not gimme a
holler :)
