It was great Joe, although I did get into a "fender bender" type
accident along my journeys. Reminded me of those insurance industry
tests, where a car collides at 10 mph and sustains $1000 in damage.
They don't make car bumpers like they used to.

Aside from that, the Grand Canyon was truly awesome. I would almost
say, it's one's patriotic duty to see it sometime in their life. The
first time I approached the south-rim to have a view, it was as if
someone had slapped me in the face, it was that shocking to see.

I also had a go at Petrified Forest N.P., Sedona, Meteor Crater, AZ.

And Monument Valley and 'Valley of the Gods' in southern Utah.

Smoked some good cigars along the way.

Some trip highlights-

Saw a small pickup turned to burnt toast along the highway. It was
still furiously burning as I passed it. Engine fire no doubt.

Cascading through Downtown Dallas on a six lane highway, with all cars
doing at least 70 mph, I saw a lazy boy chair in its full up-right
position in my lane. Fell from the back of a truck one might assume.
Near miss.

Saw two American Eagles in northern Arizona. First time for that.
Unmistakable, due to the white neck/head feathers and bright yellow
beaks.

Glad to be home though, ran into some rough weather on the drive back.
