Hi Jenn,
Still got the Bust-a-dor?
I have a fairly extensive family genealogy from my mom's side of the
family. A distant relative of hers traced our roots back thru Colonia
Virginia using her family name of Risley. She got back to 1621, when Jacob
Risley came to Virginia from England, apparently with some land grant from
the King. I'll dig it out when I get home and see what else I can find.
Have you by chance contacted the Mormon Church with your info? My cousin
got a copy of the genealogy from Ms. Risley, and went to the local LDS
office. They were able to plug in our info with their humoungous database,
and give us information going back several centuries. I've got about 200
pages of names now; the oldest entry is a Viking King named Godwulf, who
died in 89AD. Godwulf, ironically enough, is Viking for HerfDog... ;-)
HerfDog, deeply rooted.
