What's so surprising? So predictably Bush wants to use Federal emergency
powers to usurp state owned public resources and give them away, free, to
"anyone" who wants to build presumably anything on it. And you can be sure
that by "anyone" they mean anyone who is already well connected who will
grab it up in a second. They don't mean "anyone" as in any ordinary
schmuck.

This is just typical Bush chicanery. It is nothing less than yet another
transfer of wealth to the haves and have mores. You don't even have to be
partisan to see through this for what it is. Wars or natural disasters are
just opportunities to further enrich the privileged few at the expense of
the rest.

Do we really need more examples of evil from this administration?
