Let's all hope so. Free Advice: Don't be lulled into complacency by the test results and put off losing weight and reducing cholesterol, watching diet and doing exercise. My wife lost 4 siblings to heart disease and did "everything right" as a result: low salt and fat diet which resulted in low BP, low cholesterol, regular checkups and stress tests, tutti echogram, etc. All was well. She was told her EKG's "Were that of a 20 year old woman", although in her mid-60's.
That was in mid-November last year. Five weeks later she had a heart attack and had 5 blockages repaired by surgery! Unfortunately the only sure way to detect problems are with an angiogram, but since there is risk involved with that, it's usually done after a heart attack for confirmation, location of blockages, treatment planning and damage assessment. Don't worry, but remember your Latin: "Periculum in Mora", there is danger in delay. JPBill
