Re: You know you have too many machines when...

No, Beverly, let's not get drastic. Maybe it's just time for roll call. 2 of my SMs are at the daughters' homes, 2 with the DDILS, one in DH's closet, two in the butler pantry, one in the coat closet and 5 in here. I know where my treasures are. One more. There's a lovely hand crank down in DH's shop waiting for a day when it's not so miserably hot so he can give it some tlc. I just can't wait to see what kind of stitch that precious old girl can make. Hurricane season is upon us and we could be without electricity for a while. Polly

You finish a quick project (tote bag trim) and decide, while the iron is hot, and you're in the sewing room anyway, to cut off the sleeves of a couple of 3/4 sleeve T-shirts you bought intending to do just that. So you cut off the excess, press up the hems, and.... the coverstitch machine is not in its usual place. You kinda remember moving it to make room for the extra serger a couple of projects ago, and you *think* you put it in the basement storage area, but it's not there either. So you look in a couple of other likely places... no coverstitch. And the overhead light is burned out, so you can't really see all that well in the nooks and crannies. Hmm, ya' think it's time for a major straightening? :-}
