After the aggravation yesterday with the Towne Purse, I put in the bag
and really did put it on the bottom of the pile. Today I mentioned to DH
that I was in need of some summer skirts. He wanted to take me shopping
for some. I told him there was no way I was buying skirts, I'd make
them. So we drove down to Holly Lobby and I picked up 3 pieces of cotton
print. One has butterflies, one is a small paisley and the third is a
stylized flower looks kind of like a child's flower drawing. Washed
everything, pressed the butterflies, cut it out and sewed it up on the
serger. Tomorrow I'll hem it and probably do the other 2 over the
weekend.The pattern was a free download from Fabric.Com. It's called a
Bossa Nova skirt. 8 gores and easy as pie. I feel a lot better today
having accomplished something I'm happy with.

That sounds great!
I've had a good couple of sewing days too. :)
