of a top for me and maybe DD. Although, it's 60" wide and 3 yards would do
a pajama set for me. (I'd probably never get dressed again.)

Then I found a bolt of a really gorgeous stretch twill. (won't work for the
vest since I want something sans stretch for that, but oh well.) It's
black. About skirt/jacket weight. Slight stretch only. 2" crossgrain
will stretch to 3", really good recovery. The wrong side looks like a
crepe, but the face of it is gorgeous! It feels like the softest brushed
twill I've ever seen. Not really napped, like a moleskin or anything. Just a brushed twill. But beautiful. I got 6 yards. (45" wide.) I have a
jacket cut out of it already, and I'm thinking a skirt to match. I cut
view E of Simplicity 4099. (which I got on a $.99 sale.)

Oh, yummy! Is it nice and drapy?

So 9 yards of fabric for $9! And it's gorgeous stuff. I'll post a link to
pix when I get stuff done. We have a snow day today, so I may just take
that as an excuse to play in my sewing room all day. Or at least after I
get the little bit of housework done first. (then I can play guilt free. lol)

Yay! Stash infusions are great, and cheap but quality stash infusions are the best kind! Well done.
