Re: the girl

Thank you everyone for all your kind words. Sorry for the blanket response
rather than individuals. Getting ready to go help DH dig up the stump that
was left when the pear tree blew down last summer. At least I will be
outside instead of in cleaning the sewing room. heh heh

She had a marvelous time at the dance. As she walked in the door, I heard
one of the female teachers (one who is just a whole lot of fun!)
yell "whooo-hoooo!!! Look at you!!!" Then she said the other teacher
working the door told her how marvelous she looked and that she was
thrilled to pieces to see a girl dressed in something classy and not "over
accessorized." And by the way, she picked the pattern, the fabric and the
accessories. :) I had to laugh at her petting the dress on the way out
the door last night. ;)

Oh! This week was also the spring band concert. Missy Miss was awarded
the "Most Improved Musician" trophy. She had no clue she was going to get
it. Was so much fun to see her face when the band director called her name
after saying how hard the winner had worked and what a lovely young woman
the winner is. ;) (Mama has to brag sometimes y'know. lol)

Thanks again! So much fun to have all of you to share these projects with.
Gotta go digging in the dirt now.

When I was in a hurry, about five years ago and backed out the garage door without using the door opener, I was so devastated and couldn't forgive myself.... ... Don't sweat the little things and enjoy life more..I know cruises may be a lot of bucks, but you have to look at it this way...if you have piddly things happen, you enjoy the good ones even more because without them, you would have no comparison to enable you to really enjoy the good ones..Most of all don't let past bad memories fester and remain with you for the rest of your life...don't dwell on them to where you just cannot move on with your life without talking about them over and over...be more forgiving and tolerant..it sure makes life more pleasurable for yourself and those around you, too! ...
