But I've never seen a double tracing wheel. I've never seen one in the
shops here.

What I do in this case is lay the pattern on the fabric as usual, leaving
enough space around the edge for the seam lines. I have a double tracing
wheel that be adjusted for the width seam desired. Then, using tracing
paper under the edge of the pattern, I trace the edge of the pattern with
the wheel and the cutting line is traced plus the seam allowance of
whatever width I want. I got these instructions from someone from Germany
that always used Burda patterns when they didn't show seam lines either.
I use the same method when altering patterns, as well. Very easy to do.
