Hi Kate,

I just bought a neue mode pattern for the first time (usually use simplicity
et al). I opened it and discovered there are no seam allowances, I have to
put in my own! Any tips on how to do that. I have a wedding to go to in a
few days. I'm starting to feel just a teensy bit nervous.

Kate, your days/week sound like mine! Living, working, swimming, sewing,
and repeat. The Angolan garb, by the way, is almost done and ready for
fitting. Next come the Native Americans and more of the damned shirts!

The friend who was supposed to come for most of the day had a hospital
appointment, so could only stay an hour, so I have been working on the
toule for a skirt and a banner I promised to make for my son's scout
group... Guess which is trickier! It's for the St George's Day Parade on
Sunday afternoon, too... The skirt has another couple of weeks to go on
it, so no pressure there.
