So now that we know all about charters, usenet, faq's what's everyone sewing. I'm making new curtains for a bedroom. White with a blue edge that I'm serging to the inside edge.
I´m house-sitting for my MIL and rather than bring any stash I brought the scrap box. So far I have made 30 6.5" crumb blocks and now I am doing some string piecing too. The plastic box is now half empty rather than overflowing!
When I get back home (only a mile away) I intend to make up some of that "suede look", satin back fabric to add to my work wardrobe. I bought it at either Joann´s or Hancock´s when I was in the USA in the autumn. I do have one question - do any of you know how well this stuff washes? If it only shrinks once I´ll wash it before cutting as given a choice I don´t do "dry clean only".
Thanks
Lizzy
