Yeah, very nice people, many of whom have strong feelings about people who spam newsgroups in violation of the newsgroup charter.

May I recommend that you Google for the FAQ called "Advertising in Usenet: How to do it, how not to do it" and read up on how to avoid alienating potential customers?
