I'm trying to choose a Koala cabinet that will absolutely maximize my
options, and I have a question:
When a cabinet with side extensions is opened, can the extentions be in
a completely DOWN position? In other words, will the hinges allow the
extentions to open to a full 270 degrees if the swing out supports are
not used (picture 45 minutes on a clock) -effectively shortening the
dimension of the entire cabinet by the width of the extention (approx.
15")?
This is really hard to describe, so I apologize if I'm not clear... Any
insight would be helpful!
I have the Outback Plus and often use it without opening the right top
leaf. Neither top extension will fold 'down' (your 270 degrees). The
right side one has to be opened (180 degrees) if you are to use the
extension part of the cabinet, and the right-hand door (to support the
top extension leaf). This extends the cabinet width by about 18" on the
right.
