That is a great finish, even though I had to read it about 10 times, It is
past my bedtime. :~} I have been trying to think of something simple to do
for a seam finish. I am in the middle of granddaughters school clothes and
the serger has been pitched out the window. owww!

After doing some Googling on Hong Kong finishing, just to see if I couldwas
find pictures to see if what I was actually doing was a HK finish, I ran
across this article about underlining a garment and finishing the seams in
one procedure. I tried the technique this morning on a wool doll dress I
making and it worked slick as a whistle. I used some batiste I had in myyears
stash as the underlining. Perhaps many of you have been doing this for
and I'll be the only one (aaaaagain *sigh*) who didn't know about this. The
finished garment *REALLY* looks nice!!http://sewing.patternreview.com/cgi-bin/review/readreview.pl?readreview=1&ID=1044
