Ten days ago, I asked DS what his daughter would like for her second
birthday next week. "Oh, Mom, she loves ANYTHING you make, make some
clothes for her dolly."

This kid is going to be TWO !!!! she doesn't KNOW enough to know that!
Mind you, she does love the blankie I knitted for her before she
arrived, and is apparently now trying to take over the one I made for
her new baby brother, but............................



Hey could be worse. She could really LOVE her Barbie doll and you could
have been pulling an all nighter making those teeny little clothes.

You are a Wonderful Grandma to do that, and she may not realize what
treasures those clothes are now, when she's 2. But I bet they will become
something she cherishes, and maybe passes on to your great-granddaughter
someday. ;) Ya did good. Now go have a glass of wine and some chocolate.
