IKEA is also online. Try www.ikea.com and they do have fantastic
modules or did when we were living in Torrance, CA during the late
90s. I've not been to the store here in Houston, so have no idea of
their new furnishings.

I have two of the IKEA "Galant" series tables set up for my embroidery
machine and notebook computer. The Galant is adjustable in height,
and have a neat system for hooking two or more tables together. They
are *very* sturdy.

I have to drive a couple hundred miles to shop at the nearest IKEA,
but it's worth it IMHO.

That is good to know. I wish I could find someone nearby who has some
of those tables so I could see what they are like. The nearest IKEA is
over 500 miles away from us. Their website sure does not give much in
the way of detailed measurements, joints, connections, or how the height
adjustment works, etc. I was worried about tripping over the legs since
they seem to stick out from the edges of the tables. Or is that not so?
It is hard to tell from the pictures.
