One can find scads of sleeve boards both vintage wood and new on eBay.
Personally prefer the older solid wood versions by "Halo" and "June
Taylor" among others. There are also usually a few vintage wood sleeve
boards with metal screw type clamps that fold up and away. These are
great if one keeps things more or less permanently set up. Fold
down/swing in to use, fold up/swing away when finished.
I looked today and they were all either way too wide or stained &
crappy. Thanks for the idea, though.
