Hi, Sharon!
I'm glad to know you're okay. Have you heard from Elaine lately? It looked as though there were more tornadoes heading through that area again yesterday, too.
Our niece and her husband live in Lawrence, Kansas, about a mile from the campus of KU, which sustained a lot of damage. Just heard from them that they had no damage at all.

Hey All,.
I thought I'd better check in this morning. I'm sure some of you have seen
the news about the wicked storms we had out here last night. Everything is
fine at my house. The storm that created the tornado went north and east of
my town. We got gusts of wind up to 60 mph, and lightning like you would
not believe. But that's all that storm did here. The one that rolled
through later, around 1:30 am, dumped a lot of rain here. (we need the rain
though so no complaints there.) A few tree branches down around the
neighborhood, but that's all.
The tornadoes were on the ground in Oklahoma, Arkansas and Missouri. So the
damage is spread out all over. From all the news reports I've seen for my
area of AR, there was property damage but no major injuries. They were
saying on the morning news that no one had to go to the hospital even though
there were several houses north of me that were totally destroyed. I feel
terrible for the folks that lost houses, but so grateful that they were all
right physically.
Pat, sing out when you can. I know the nasty stuff was a lot closer to you
than me. Hope all is well up there with you.
Sharon
