I think you 're correct Beverly. It is some kind of crewel
design. I'm not good on the history of designs. It is very
striking and the colors are so vivid.

I'm no expert, but I love to work on crewel, and the design of your

pics up. My bedroom is very large and needs a very strong
print. As you can tell by reading the information, the repeat
is 36 inches. I wish I could put full length drapes in my home
but that's not possible. I have to keep as many things off the
floor as I can because of my asthma. Can't have anything that
might be a big dust collector.

??? Full length doesn't have to be "on the floor", unless you're doing
that whole "puddling" thing (which I loath).

The windows are large though so
the pattern show look great in the room. BTW the room was
paneled and DH painted it. This is not the first time he's
painted paneling. It's a lot of work but the results are
lovely.

I'm sorely tempted to paint the wood paneling in my bedroom, but have
a huge problem with covering real wood with paint. <sigh> DD and I
put it up when we first bought this house, I wish we had not...
