ottobre magazine http://www.ottobredesign.com/ has some great boys
clothes. My boys are too big now for most of the patterns, but there's some
great ideas that I've used. I can get it in my local newsagent but I would
consider subscribing if they stop carrying it.
Top Kids magazine (now defunct, but old issues available on ebay)

381&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW was a valuable source of patterns when my boys
were smaller.

Kwik sew does some basic patterns that are easy to modify/embellish that are
multi sized. The Kerstin Martensson books are well worth the money, too.

For those tricky to fit kids, it's worth the time spent drafting basic
patterns, especially pants. I can whip up a basic sloper for my tall skinny
son in no time now. He needs a mans length and a boys 12 width, so there's
nothing availabe RTW in pants.
