hmmm, don't know why the email bounced, that's my regular account, I'll

the skins should be really well salted (can't use too much) on the leather
side rather than the wool side, wrapped in hessian and stored where they
will get air but where the dogs can't get them - speaking from experience
here! :-) The remaining flesh is then scraped off, the tanning solution
applied, left for a period of time (nice and specific, huh) and then a
lubricant applied.
I remembered the product - leidreiters- which is apparently now made here
(in Aus) as Leder (as per previous link)
