Newby question on best way to set up 2 partitions, here is the
situation:
House with a basement suite. House will be on partition 1, suite will
be on partition 2. The suite and house share a common entry area in
the basement. Im considering the DSC 832 or 864 panel but havent
bought anything yet.
As I understand it, if I put the common area zone on both partitions it
will only trip if both partitions are armed (am I right here). Is
there a way to set it up that if the common area is tripped and either
partion is armed either partition code can be entered to disarm?
Everything is still in the planning stages so Im not adverse to adding
extra keypads or sensors if needed to make this situation work the best
way possible.
Thanks for the help
Gary
