Re: Great deal, great product.

I'm very much interested in what you have to say. Let me clarify about the
"I'm not interested" comment further, since I clearly have not been
successful so far. I'm not interested in joining sides. Making comments
regarding how I'm a "sock puppet" probably helps you to justify your
behaviour towards me but it certainly doesn't do anything towards helping
your reputation. Fine. One way or another what you do in this Group is
your business. All the same, I would like to see you provide proof of what
you've said about me and in the absence of same, an apology would be in
order.

Posting information about DIY is certainly not an ethics violation.
Spamming the Group with links to your online store is clearly against the
FAQ. However, you are an individual in your own right and no one disputes
the fact that this is a free and open forum. I do note that most of the
participants here are clearly in the alarm business and I don't see anyone
but yourself flogging their wares here. As far as I know you probably
wouldn't be prevented from purchasing a booth at ISC either and you'd be
hawking to the "wrong crowd" there too.

I will refrain from further discourse with you unless, of course, you decide
on a civil response. I did enjoy the photographs posted on your website
(the link to which was provided by "I'm Pink") by the way. The opulence of
the decoration in the Churches is a testament to the people's faith. Some
may view this differently, but that's life too. :)

Regards,

Frank too

I'm responding to your posts...

Yet you made it a point to state repeatedly that you're not
interested in what I have to say. :^)

We are corresponding if you haven't noticed...

"Corresponding?" Heh. You are just an Olson sock puppet and
yes, I noticed.

A number of individuals here frequently post responses
to you...

Some of them are filtered. Others (the ones who behave like
adults) get responses in kind.

I suppose you're now going to say that their entire purpose
for participating in this Group is to harrass you.

Nah. I'm not that self-important. But the vast majority of your
posts are addressed to me. For someone who claims to be totally
disinterested, that seems a little strange, don't you think?

This is a Newsgroup. I capitalize "Group" to differentiate
between a "group of individuals" and a "Newsgroup".

Oh, you mean a newsgroup. That's a normal word and isn't usually
capitalized. Point me to the "Usenet Instruction Manual" that
clearly identifies this supposed error...

You might start here. http://www.faqs.org/faqs/usenet/faq/part1/
Rather than state, "Thou shalt not say 'Group,'" the document
refers to "newsgroups" numerous times. The implication is that
the accepted usage is "newsgroup". If you hang around USENET
(which can isn't always capitalized since it's not an acronym)
you'll learn these things, not that it makes any difference.

While you're at it, perhaps you should look up the
word "ethics". Clearly you haven't done so.

You consider that fact that I post information about DIY an
ethics violation. Or perhaps the problem you have is that I
sometimes speak up against some of the less-than-savory trade
practices that are all too common in this industry. Hmm.

While we're on the subject of Netiquette, perhaps you
should review your own posted responses to me.

I said nothing about netiquette and I couldn't care less whether
you like what I have to say. I'm not here for your benefit and
you are clearly not interested in mine.

Oh, and by the way, I don't look anything like the other
Frank...

You are indeed an Olson sock puppet.

I wear a cap so the reflection doesn't blind people.

I leave the bald pate open to the sun, keeps the old brain warm.
